So. I tried to convince Bernie to dress up with me for Halloween -- as Shrek and Fiona. He'd have none of it (I'm assuming because it's bad enough that I've got pictures of him as him looking ogreish, and he didn't want to give me more cannon fodder). However. He is being forced to have a George Romero marathon with me. Lesser of the two evils, I guess (but if I'd been him, and this was an either or, I might've gone with Shrek). So, there's that.
Aside from that, I've obviously been back in the States since the beginning of the month. Emily and Travis' wedding was gorgeous, by the way. And I'm pretty sure Bernie stole the incriminating pictures I had of him, but .. it is true, Ladies and Gents. He did do the [wait for it] Soulja Boy .. with Em. I don't think I've ever laughed that hard before. For those of you who have never had the pleasure of seeing the Soulja Boy being done, I direct you here. Watch that, imagine Bernie doing it. You'll get the laughs, I promise. I'm sincerely hoping someone out there has video of it. If Bernie hasn't already confiscated it or bribed you, strange person out there, I'll double whatever he can pay you!
And, on that note, I've gotta go return the Shrek costumes! (Kidding.)

Not gonna lie .. but I think ( #5 goes a long way to explaining some things .. ) And that's why I'd never want to live in Washington D.C. True story.
There are so many disturbing laws on that list, most of which my fragile, virginal mind should never have to comprehend, but I couldn't not share.
In more important news .. flying home in a few hours. I'm .. actually really going to miss it here. I'm pretty sure I blubbered my way through dinner last night (a fact that my favorite producer will be too nice to ever mention ever again), but the 'rents are going to come to California for the holidays, so .. I'll get to see them relatively soon.
So, that's about all. It's 6 a.m. here in New Zealand .. all my bags are packed and ready to go. And. I'll be home soon enough.
